Linda Cardwell Belcher Glover, age 81, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at her residence.  She was born in Butler Co., KY on Aug. 20, 1944.  Linda was a homemaker and attended the Sugar Grove Methodist Church.  She took care of children for many years, decorated beautiful cakes and enjoyed sewing and painting.  She was preceded in death by her husband’s Phillip Belcher and James Glover; parents George and Elsie Myrl Hoops Cardwell; nephew Matt Stagner.

Jared Abram Jones, age 47, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in Simpson Co.  He was born on May 7, 1978 in Salem, IN.   Jared attended Cross Point Church and worked in construction.  He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Irvin L. and A. Lois Campbell, Ray and Elizabeth Jones.

James Roger Drake, age 93 of Valparaiso, IN passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026 at his residence. Roger was born on October 25, 1932 to the late McKinley Oliver and Ivy Elizabeth (nee Pendley) Drake. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a retired Steelworker for Inland Steel. Roger enjoyed fishing, nature and being outdoors. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by six brothers; Oliver, Phillip, Ruby, Robert, Cecil and Neil Drake.

Bobby Wayne Deweese, age 81, of Butler County, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Medical Center Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on May 4, 1944, in Butler County, Kentucky, to the late Wallace R. and Ila Pearl Gray Deweese, and lived a life marked by devotion, hard work, and a deep love for his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Brenda Sue Deweese; his brother, Johnny Deweese; his sisters, Anna Mae Deweese, Jo Dean Cox, Jackie Haynes, and Judy Burden; and his grandson, Thomas Cherry. 

Wayne Jackson, 60 of Hartford, Kentucky passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 19, 2026 under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. He was born on September 26, 1965 in Joliet, Illinois to Alta Turner Sorrells and the late Roy Reed Jackson. Wayne was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and worked for Real Alloy in Morgantown for 32 years.

BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Jerry Lemuel Massey, 50, of Roundhill passed away April 18, 2026 at his home.

BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Linda Lou Nash Sowders, 85, of Roundhill passed away with family by her side April 12, 2026 at her son’s home in Bee Spring.

The Mitchell, IN native was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard, going to yard sales, thrift stores and Walmart. She was a daughter of the late Jessie Nash and Nelly Sullivan Nash and the wife of the late Hayward “Sam” Sowders. She was preceded in death by a son, Trenton “Spider” Sowders; a grandson, Michael Sowders; a brother, James Nash; and three sisters, Lottie Coates, Debbie Beville and Betty Pringle.

James Darrell Brooks, known to family and friends as Darrell, passed away on Saturday,  April 11, 2026, at his residence in Morgantown, Kentucky, at the age of 54. Darrell was born on October 28, 1971, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a loving, generous, and creative man whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around him. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Brooks Sr., his stepmother, Sandy Brooks, and his grandparents, James A. and Dorothy Brooks, and Harrison and Marie White. 

Danny Ferlin Felty, 69, of  Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Bowling Green, KY. He was born on May 28, 1956, in Owensboro, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by loyalty, humor, and a deep devotion to the people and things he loved most. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Roy O. and Cova Myrl Johnson Felty, his wife, Gayle Stinnett Felty, and one brother, Randall Felty.

Charletta Hutcheson, age 62, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was  born on Sept. 12, 1963 to the late Charles Oscar Hutcheson, Jr. and Eletta “Byrd” Embry Hutcheson. Charletta was a member of the Morgantown Church of Christ and was a 1982 graduate of Butler County High. She worked at Morgantown Bank & Trust for more than 25 years. Char loved UK basketball, traveling and hanging out with friends and family. Char was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers; John David Hutcheson & Charles Oscar Hutcheson, II.
