Peter "Pete" Henderson, 79 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born January 23, 1947 in Butler County, KY to the late Ertest Fay and Doreen Telford Henderson. Pete was a member and trustee at Cool Springs General Baptist Church, and a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Pete enjoyed hunting and fishing. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his brother and sister in law Mike and Carolyn Henderson. 

Peter "Pete" Henderson  is survived by his loving wife Doris Henderson of Morgantown, KY, they married April 21, 1967; son Cody Henderson (Deneatra) of Morgantown, KY; grandchildren Havanna Cummins (Hayden), Evan James Henderson, Owen William Henderson and Aden Lute Henderson all of Morgantown, KY; two nephews Brandon Henderson (Shannon) of Elizabethtown, KY and Jaret Henderson (Erin) of Morgantown, KY. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 1:00pm with Bro. Frankie Skipworth and Bro. Cody Russ officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Garden where Cody, Evan, Owen, Brandon and Jaret Henderson, Derrick Coots and Wayne Burden will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
