Morgantown Elementary students from Mrs. Simmons and Mrs. Donaldson's classes went Christmas caroling in Morgantown. They stopped by PBI Bank, the Butler County Courthouse and Morgantown Bank & Trust.

Cloudy skies and a little rain was not enough to stop the Quality Christmas Parade.  The parade was held Saturday, December 8th.  Highway 106 was packed with eager spectators.  Enjoy the pictures of the parade; the video will be up soon so check back later. MERRY CHRISTMAS from QUALITY!!!!!

Friday night December 7th at 6 pm, many in the Rochester Community congregated at the Rochester Community Building for the 2nd Annual Rochester Community Christmas party.  After feasting on homemade soups, sandwiches, hot dogs and desserts- and soft drinks, of course- they were all treated to a visit from good ole St. Nick himself! The kids in attendance gathered round the jolly man in red to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.  Jenny Priddy Joiner’s son even brought a Toys ‘R Us ad to show St. Nick exactly what he wanted.  Now, that’s what you call planning!

Butler County High School Band will be performing their annual Christmas Concert, Monday December 10th at 6:30 PM at BCHS. They will have a Chili Supper and Silent Auction from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. The Chili Supper is $5.00 per person, which includes: chili, dessert, and drink.

The 2012 Annual Festival of Trees is being held from December 1 through December 9. Be sure to stop in and view the variety of holiday tree arrangements!

Green River Baptist Church in Cromwell, KY is presenting the 13th Annual Living Nativity, featuring scenes such as Mary and Joseph being turned away at the inn and the Holy Family gathered in the manger. Access is free.

From 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 – 9 visitors will be able to drive through the scenes, which have church members portraying the story.
