You are invited to the Green River Museum's Fall Open House on Saturday, September 21st, from 1-4pm.  This year the museum will be honoring the memory of Bill Lawrence.  Admission is free, refreshments will be served, and music will be provided by the Lawrence Family.

Flener ~ Johnson Wedding 

In the celebration of love, Boyce and Kimberly Scott Flener of Morgantown, Kentucky, request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their daughter Amanda Lane Flener to Christopher Anthony Johnson, son of Tony and Shelia Joiner Johnson of Roundhill, Kentucky. 

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has happily issued a call to Jordan Bryant son of Billy and Kelly Bryant of Hartford, KY formerly of Morgantown to serve in the Everett Washington USA Mission.  Jordon completed a 4 year early morning seminary program which is part of the Church Education System offered to all students that are in high school in this area. He graduated and spoke at the graduation that occurred in May of this year.   He is a 2013 Butler County High School graduate.  He was part of the elite Butler County High School band where he was the head of the Drum Line.

Monticello Revival by: Andy Sullivan

It is time for 5th grade band.  This is a great time for these students to try something new such as band class.  We have had such great success over the last few years with our county wide 5th grade band scoring proficient and distinguished at KMEA festivals.  The students had a great time performing on the stage at Van Meter Hall and performing for family and friends at our school concerts.

The Butler County Extension Service/Butler County Farm Bureau Field Day will be Thursday, September 5th at the Banock Masonic Lodge at 3:30 p.m.  The Daugherty Family will be hosing this year’s event.
