Three Corners Employment has been providing opportunities to local people in the area and surrounding counties for nearly two years now.

Three Corners partners with local businesses and employment specialists who work alongside those in the community to give them the necessary skills to succeed. 

The Owen/Daniel Daugherty Reunion will be held at Mt.Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Butler County on Friday, August 9 and Saturday August 10. Singing and fellowship will take place on Friday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. and the potluck meal will be at 12:30. Descendants, family and friends are invited.

The Barren River Chapter of Kentucky Public Retirees will be meeting on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

A Guinness World Record was broken, over four thousand dollars in prizes were given away and many events marked a “first” for the 39 annual Green River Catfish Festival this year.

The festival took place over the holiday weekend from Thursday, July 4 to Saturday, July 6. The yearly event took place at the Charles Black City Park and drew over 6,000 people to the area.

Grapplers got down and dirty with some of the biggest catfish that the city could find.

The first ever “Catfish Wrastlin’” event took place at the Green River Catfish Festival on Saturday, July 6.

Round two of the Green River Catfish Festival Beauty Pageants were held on Saturday night.

Winners includes:

Miss Butler County Kassidy Alward Alword daughter of Penny Whittinghill and Kenny Alward of Greenville.

The Green River Catfish Festival beauty pageants started at 10:00am on Saturday morning.  In an air-conditioned tent 85 children between the ages of birth and 7 years old competed for titles.  Winners included:
