For 14 years now, the Stuff the Bus Foundation has been working to provide school supplies and opportunities to children and families in need. 

Stuff the Bus is a non-profit foundation with the mission to “Provide a level playing field for all children in Southern Kentucky.”

The Butler County High School class of 1964 will hold their 55th anniversary reunion at 5 p.m. on Saturday August 17 in the Eva Hawes building at the Morgantown City Park. All classmates and spouses are invited to attend. Please RSVP to Gary Southerland at (270) 526-3451 & leave message.

The class will provide free snacks and drinks. In this year’s theme we’ll acknowledge the 60th anniversary of Hawaiian statehood so feel free to wear your flowery shirts and pooka shell necklaces. We hope to see you there. Aloha, y’all!

Butler County High School will be hosting the 2019-2020 Freshmen Orientation on Thursday, July 25th at the high school.

Butler County residents had a chance to exhibit various items during the 2019 Catfish Festival with entering their items in the Butler County Open Division Contest.  Categories included canned foods, baked goods, quilts, stitchery, paintings, drawings, breads, clothing, along with many others.

We would like to thank all our family and friends for the outpouring of prayers, and expressions of love during the illness and death of our loved one, Linda Sue Givens.

Goodwill has been helping to break the barriers associated with receiving employment for those that have a criminal record.
