Milford Johnson, 90, of Morgantown, passed away January 28th, 2026 at Ohio County Hospital. He was born on February 2, 1935 in Ohio County to the late Homer Johnson and Arizina Embry Johnson.

Milford enjoyed fox hunting, gardening, and bluegrass music. He was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Shirrell Daugherty Johnson; brothers, Randall Johnson, Chelsey Johnson, Thornton Johnson, and Hillard Johnson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Tim Johnson (Janet) and Mike Johnson; grandchildren, Carissa Poston (Kyle), Derek Johnson (Ali), Jacob Johnson, Justin Johnson, and McKenna Johnson; several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 1st, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Mike Thomas officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Online messages of condolence may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
