Larry Dean Turner, a cherished father, fiancé, son, and friend, passed away at his residence on Oak Ridge Road on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on May 4, 1981, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Larry's life was a testament to the joy and love he brought to those around him.

Larry was preceded in death by his loving mother, Rose Ann Jenkins Turner, and his daughter, Emily Dawn Turner. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family members. His father, Harvey Dean Turner, and Sheila Kay Gatling, of Big Clifty, KY, three daughters, Heavenly Turner of Bowling Green, KY, Chasity Lee of Morgantown, KY, and Ashley Guess of Bowling Green, KY. His fiancée, Georgia Tarrance of Morgantown, KY, and her children, Lauren Tarrance, Ethan Carroll (Kayla), and Carson Carroll (Nicolasa). Larry's life was further enriched by his grandchildren, Everleigh Alvey, Nevaeh Keown, Shayden Helson, Blayden Basham, Emilee Alvey, Zayden Stinnet, and Rhealynn, Presley, and Danny Carroll. His sister, Jeanie Gray of Bowling Green, KY, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

For many years, Larry dedicated his skills as a Metal Handler for Gracious Living in Morgantown, KY. Larry's passion for life extended beyond his professional endeavors. He was an avid gamer, finding joy in online gaming with friends. Fishing and his love for RC cars showcased his playful and adventurous spirit, while his admiration for Superman reflected his belief in heroism and the potential for good in everyone.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 1:00pm with Bro. Andy Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, where his family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 9:30am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Jones Funeral Chapel P.O.
