Helen M. Sanders, aged 55, of Morgantown, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Medical Center. Helen was born on December 7, 1968, in Bowling Green, KY. Helen's life was a testament to the power of love, humor, and courage.

Sandy Embry Smith, age 56, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at her residence.  She was born in Butler Co., KY on June 20 1967.  Sandy left her mark on the restaurant industry and all of those who sat in her kitchen.  She loved to fish and golf.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Waitress Embry & Pansy Dockery; aunt Shelby Givens and cousin Cheryl Embry Shephard.

Myrtle McCrary Swink, age 84, of Millwood, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.  She was born in Tazewell, TN on Aug. 24, 1939.  She was a loving mother to her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  Myrtle also enjoyed quilting, gardening, sewing and singing.   She was a homemaker and a member of White Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore Franklin and Nancy Angeline Loyd McCrary; son Roger Dale Hack; five brothers and one sister; granddaughters Dana and Donna Hack. 

Robert Oneal Basham, known affectionately as Oneal to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Born on April 20, 1947, in Bowling Green, KY. Oneal's life was a testament to his enduring spirit and his commitment to his community.

Laura F. Webb, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on Saturday,  May 4, 2024, at a Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Born on November 12, 1946, in Cincinnati, OH, Laura's life was a testament to the power of kindness and devotion. Laura's journey through life was shared with her beloved husband of 56 years, Matt M. Webb, of Morgantown, KY. Together, they built a family founded on love and mutual respect. She was a cherished mother to Matt M. Webb II of Morgantown, KY, Donna Brower (Richard) of MI, and Mike A. Webb (Bethany) of Portland, TN.

Kermit Lee Phelps, 77, loving husband, father, and papaw passed away on May 1, 2024 in Louisville, KY, surrounded by close family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a family full of diehard University of Louisville fans.

Born on May 1, 1947, Kermit grew up in Morgantown, KY. He is the son of Edna and Owen Phelps and had 8 siblings: Forrest Phelps, Carlos Phelps, Alma Deweese, Kenneth Phelps, Betty Greer, Louise Amos, Lucille Curtis, and Shirley Broyles. He was a graduate of Butler County High School and upon graduation was drafted in the US Army

Kermit Lee Evans, 86, of Bowling Green, Kentucky was born April 14, 1938 to the union of Jesse and Lizzie Snodgrass Evans and died April 28, 2024.

Walter "Buddy" Rhoades III, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024, at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Born on August 13, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN, Buddy's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, hard work, and dedication to family.
