Helen M. Sanders, aged 55, of Morgantown, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Medical Center. Helen was born on December 7, 1968, in Bowling Green, KY. Helen's life was a testament to the power of love, humor, and courage.

Helen was the cherished mother of Jeremiah Sanders of Morgantown, KY. She was a beloved sister to James Sanders (Lisa) of Morgantown, KY, Melissa Sanders of Bowling Green, KY, and Christina Baucum (Ellis) of Caneyville, KY. Her life was further enriched by the joy and laughter of several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and spirited generosity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles James Sanders and Thelma Jane Rigsby Hagan, her two brothers, Charles and Randy Sanders, and her stepfather, Dickie Hagan. Each of them had a special place in her heart, and she carried their memories with her like a treasured keepsake.

Helen's professional life was marked by her tenure at Purdue Farms in Cromwell, KY and the Farmboy Restaurant in Morgantown, KY. Beyond her professional endeavors, Helen's interests painted the picture of a woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved shopping, finding the perfect items to add to her collections of teddy bears and purses. A meal at Sonic was a treat she savored, and she could often be found watching cooking shows. Helen's love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished every moment spent.

Those who knew Helen would describe her as loving, funny, and courageous. Her laughter was infectious, her sense of humor a beacon of light on cloudy days. She faced life's challenges with a bravery that inspired those around her, and her love was a warm embrace that comforted and uplifted.
