Dewey Lee Shepherd, 71, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his residence. Dewey was born August 18, 1941 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Troy and Margery Cox Shepherd. He was retired from Scott & Murphy in Bowling Green, KY.

Dewey Lee Shepherd is survived by one son, Keith Shepherd of Morgantown, KY.; two daughters, Susan Johnson and husband Jonathon of Morgantown, KY; and Connie White and husband B.J. of Morgantown, KY; three grandchildren, Alisha Holland and husband Jon, Dillen White and Natoshia White - all of Morgantown, KY.; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Alivia Holland; and one sister, Virginia Embry of Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Miles Tomes officiating. Burial will be in the Flatwood Cemetery. Visitation is Friday July 26, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
