Lonnard Daniel Hardin, Sr., age76, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Hardin was born Jan. 24, 1937 in Roundhill, Ky., to the late Aurther Stanley and Dessie Blanton Hardin. He attended Hardshell Baptist, he was a roofer and a Kentucky Colonel who enjoyed fishing, hunting and horseshoes. He was in the Army where he served as a cook. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Hardin is survived by 3 sons: Lonnard Hardin, Jr., and wife Toni of Leitchfield, Ky., John Hardin of Morgantown, and Patrick Hardin and wife Stacy of Morgantown; 3 daughters: Anna McIntyre and husband Ray of Morgantown, Tina Flener and husband Alan of Morgantown and Kim Bartley and husband Chris Bartley Sr. of Morgantown; 3 sisters: Susie Hardin of Roundhill, Louise Thretton and husband Ray of Louisiana and Goldie Houston and husband Bob of LaGrange, Ky.; 1 brother: Dale Hardin and wife Penny of Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 23 at 7 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23 from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
