Sami Jo Brooks, 29 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Sami was born August 15, 1984 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, to Lloyd and Donna Crain Brooks. She was a Butler County High School Graduate and attended Richland Missionary Baptist Church. Sami is preceded in death by one sister Abagail Marie Dailey, grandmother Blanche Brooks and great grandmother Doris Dailey.
Sami Jo Brooks is survived by her daughter Jasmine Rainn Oresky of Morgantown, Ky.; parents Lloyd and Donna Brooks of Morgantown, Ky.; brother Tyler Brooks of Morgantown, Ky.; 2 sister Angela Rena Williams husband Chris of Texas and Amanda Brooks of Leitchfield, Ky.;grandparents Clifford and Mary Crain of Caneyville, Ky. and Bennett Brooks of Morgantown, Ky.; partner Keith Oresky of Bowling Green, Ky.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11:00am with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the Frank Embry Cemetery in Caneyville, Ky. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
