Richard Watson Hoover, 89 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014  at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Richard was born January 6, 1925 in Greenville, Kentucky to the late Roy and Buelah Mallory Hoover. Mr. Hoover was a member of Mud River Union Baptist Church, a World War II Army Veteran and retired machine operator with DINA CIRCUITS. He is preceded in death by one daughter Mildred Embry; one brother Junior Hoover and one sister Revie Davis.
Richard Watson Hoover is survived by his wife Exie Faye Hoover of Morgantown, Ky.; three daughters Patsy Peay of Bowling Green, Ky., Nell Ludvigson and husband Jeff of Indiana and Louise Hoover of Morgantown, Ky.; four sons James Richard Hoover and wife Pat of Florida, Vernon Hoover of Morgantown, Ky., John Hoover of Morgantown, Ky. and Joseph Hoover and wife Carol of Indiana; one sister Jewel Christie and husband Sherman of Russellville, Ky.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, March 21, 2014 at 12:00pm .Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday March 20, 2014 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
