Beatrice Smith, 71, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Butler County on June 27, 1947 to the late Leslie and Lettie McKinney Parks. Beatrice attended Jesus First Holiness Church, worked many years at Kane's and Kellwood and loved to plant flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Richard Parks; grandson Jimmy Parks and sister in law Charlene Evans. .

Beatrice is survived by her husband of 50 years Earl Smith of Morgantown; grandchildren Richard Dwayne Parks of Morgantown; Stephanie Parks of Morgantown; a great granddaughter Summer Givens; half sister Daisy Merle Bratcher of New Orleans; sister in law Earline Kirby (Mark) of Huntsville; brothers in law Jimmy Smith (Vickie) of Calhoun, Johnny Smith and Larry Smith both of Morgantown.

Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Del Dockery and Bro. Roy Alford officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 6 from 5:30- 8pm and Sunday from 10am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
