Larry C. Flener, 76 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Larry was born May 6, 1942, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Hubert and Essie Flener. He was a member of Morgantown Cumberland Presbyterian Church, owner, and operator of Flener's Plumbing and Electric and co-owner of Aunt Kay's Kids. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Randall Flener.

Larry C. Flener is survived by his wife of 57 years Kay Gaskey Flener of Morgantown, KY; one daughter Shannon Harrison (Mark) of Morgantown, KY; one son Craig Flener (Jeff Ohlmann) of Washington DC; two grandchildren Marcus Harrison (Kaitlin) and Shanna Hall (Jake) of Morgantown, KY; three great-grandchildren Georgia Grace, Jack and Wick; two sisters Rita Drake (Greg) of Morgantown, KY and Christine Garner of Louisville, KY; one brother Mike Flener (Diana) of Morgantown, KY; brother in law Bobby Gaskey (Helene) of Morgantown, KY; sister in law Alice Shields (Allan) of Indianapolis as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, September 30, 2018, at 2:00 pm with Bro. David Hocker and Bro. Jaret Henderson officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am until funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Morgatnown Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
