Joseph Michael "Joe" Snodgrass, age 72 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at his home surrounded by those that love him so much. Joe was born on Tuesday November 13, 1951 in Morgantown, KY to the union of the late Orval and Virginia Jo Crawford Snodgrass. Joe retired from ADM after working on the river for 43 years as a towboat captain. Being a captain on the river wasn't easy but it was a job that allowed his wife, Helen Pendley Snodgrass to stay home and be there for their children everyday and that's exactly what he wanted.

Lanny Wayne Blunk Sr., age 72 of Roundhill, KY passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in Clarksville, TN.

Sandra Mae Hammers, age 75 of Huntsville, KY passed away Monday, the 1st day of January, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Sandra was born Monday, the 9th day of August, 1948 in Richland , IN to the union of the late Robert R. and Viola Mae McVey Crume. She was a member of Huntsville Methodist Church, retired from Sumitomo Electric, and volunteered for many local organizations. Sandra enjoyed cooking, watching and collecting red birds, spending time with family and her loyal dog Willie. Other than her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her twin brother, Randy K.

Randy Dewayne Phelps, age 54 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at his residence. Randy was born on Tuesday, January 21, 1969 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late William Lee and Janice Sue Blanchard Phelps and husband of the late Shannon Michelle Poole. He was employed and had worked for Delta Faucet for many years. Randy enjoyed fishing and spending time with his granddaughter. 

Carle H. Merewether, age 80 of Versailles, Indiana passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at his son's residence in Morgantown, KY. Carle was born on Monday, December 20, 1943 in Manchester, New Hampshire to the union of the late Walter and Claire LaCouture Merewether.  He was a United States Marine Veteran and a retired welder. Carle enjoyed hunting, fishing, building things and working around his property. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Norma Merewether; one brother Walter Merewether and one sister Marion Kelly.

Hartford-  Nina Schroader Galloway, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Heartford House in Owensboro.  She was born in Ohio County on April 1, 1935 to the late James R. Coppage and Cliffie M. Patton Coppage.

Nina was preceded in death by two infant sisters; husband Charles W. Galloway; son Barry K. Schroader; son-in-law Michael J. Alvey.

She was a graduate of Hartford High School and Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Anthony Allen "Tony" Phelps, age 52 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 in Morgantown, KY. Tony was born on Tuesday, October 26, 1971 in Louisville, KY to the late Charlie Lee Phelps and Jeanette Fishburn Davidson. He was a installation superintendent for Dematic for 31 years and of the Baptist Faith. Tony enjoyed fishing, wood working, hunting, spending time with the grandchildren and he loved his dog Marley. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his step mom Patricia Phelps and one sister Pamela Patterson. 

Ellis Clay Gidcumb, age 76, went to be home with his heavenly father on December 24, 2023. Ellis was born to the late Roy and Eula (Kemp) Gidcumb on October 20, 1947. Ellis served honorably ln the United States Army from 1969 -1971.

Monda Gale West, age 65 of Morgantown, KY passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at her residence. Gale was born on Sunday, September 28, 1958 in Bowling Green, KY to the union of the late Earl and Madalyn Price White. 

Clifford Ray Neely, age 68 of Auburn, KY formerly of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at his residence. Ray was born on Sunday, May 15, 1955 in Greenville, KY to the union of the late Clifford "Pete" and Mary Margeurite Greathouse Neely. He was a member of Mt Olivet Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. Ray retired after 35 years of service at Carpenters in Russellville, KY. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren.
