Sandra Kay Rife, known affectionately as Sandra to all who loved her, passed away peacefully at the age of 60 at her home in Morgantown, KY, on September 23, 2025. Born on November 17, 1964, in Warren County, KY, Sandra was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life, touching the hearts of many with her warm presence and generous spirit.

Lyndel Hal Evans, age 61, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at his residence.  He was born in Warren Co., KY on Oct. 31, 1963. Hal was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church and a truckdriver.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR, UK basketball and riding 4-wheelers.  He was preceded in death by his parents Rudolph Evans and Linda Doolin Hammers.

He is survived by his son Calub Evans (Laura); half-brothers Jamie Hammers (Christy) and Jerry Hammers; grandchildren Khloe Evans and Keaton Deberry and several friends.

Larry Eugene Johnson, 70 of Aberdeen, KY passed away on September 17, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on November 26, 1954 and was a member of Leonard Oak Baptist Church. Larry was preceded in death by his loving parents Cleatus and Lottie Johnson, his four brothers H.C. Johnson (Myrl), N.W. Johnson, Leslie Johnson and J.N. Johnson. Also his two sisters Dimple Elmore (Odell) and Catherine Mason (Wilson). 

Shirley Wingfield Neighbors, age 83, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Medical Center.  She was born in Butler Co., KY on May 1, 1942.   She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and a homemaker.  Shirley liked to work in her flower garden.  She was preceded in death by her husband’s Ray Ball and Archie Neighbors; parents Hobert and Gusta McKinney Wingfield; sisters Freda Hope and Linda Wingfield.

Timothy Embry, age 67, of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025, at UofL Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born on Saturday April 12, 1958, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Timothy grew to be a man of great love, creativity, and gentleness, touching the lives of all who knew him.

Rhoda Mardell Barrow Givens, age 95, of Hartford, KY passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Signature Health Care in Hartford, KY.  She was born in Butler Co., KY on Nov. 11, 1929.  Mardell was a member of Word Missionary Baptist Church and was a Registered Nurse and a Nursing Professor.  She enjoyed quilting and selling antique linens at flea markets and antique shows.  She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Givens; parents Taylor and Jessie Moore Barrow; sister Winifred Taylor.

Kelly D. Wester, age 59 of Rochester, KY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025, at his companion's residence in Central City, Kentucky. Born on Wednesday, December 1, 1965, in Lewisburg, Kentucky, Kelly's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and the simple joys of life.

Richard Dale Ashby, age 60, passed away peacefully September 15, 2025, at his favorite place and his pride and joy (Cedar Ridge Speedway), surrounded by his wife and children listening to the grandchildren make some laps around the track. Born on Thursday, September 9, 1965, in Hartford, KY, Richard's life was a testament to his love for his family and his passion for racing.

Judy Snodgrass Goodley, age 77 of Morgantown, KY, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Born on Tuesday, October 21, 1947, in Butler County, KY.

William Boyd Truelove, known affectionately as Boyd to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on Saturday,  June 15, 1946, in Provo, Kentucky, Boyd's life was a testament to the values of love, adventure, and analytical thinking that he held dear.
