David Allen Clark, Jr., age 60, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his residence.  He was born in Jefferson Co., KY on September 14, 1964.  He loved spending his days on the riverbank. He was preceded in death by his father David Allen Clark, Sr., and brother, Samuel Ray Moore, Jr.

Barbara J. Lacefield, 79, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Saturday, (July 19, 2025) at Grayson Manor Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on June 19th, 1946 in Evansville, IN, the daughter of the late Laslie and Maudie Mitchell Lacefield.

She was a former employee of Campbell Hausfeld, sat with elderly people, loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She had an exceptional love for Mountain Dew, and was a member of the Free Union Independent General Baptist Church (Old Decker).

Addie Mae Childers, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at her residence in Jetson, KY, surrounded by loved ones. Born on Saturday, March 6, 1937, in Jetson, KY, Addie's life was a tapestry of generosity, creativity, and unwavering faith that touched everyone she knew.

James Norman “Big Norm” Weaver, 79, of Bullitt County, KY, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Norm was born on October 30, 1945, in Bowling Green, KY, to the late Marion Dean Weaver and Olon Weaver. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Don Weaver, and nephew, Donald Warren Weaver.

Finley W. Phelps, age 72, passed away at his residence in Roundhill, Kentucky, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Born on Thursday, September 25, 1952, in Butler County, Kentucky. Finley was preceded in death by his loving parents, Forrest and Arie Aline Johnson Phelps, his brother Forrest Woody Phelps, and his sister Reta Cardwell. His memory will be treasured and kept alive by his wife, Ruth Grismer Phelps, and his siblings: Frankie Phelps of Roundhill, KY, Kathy Dockery of Morgantown, KY, Joseph Phelps of Morgantown, KY, and Joy Henderson of Roundhill, KY. His numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis J. Howard, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on Wednesday,  July 16, 2025, at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on Thursday, September 30, 1943, in Jamestown, TN, Phyllis's life was a tapestry of cherished moments and enduring relationships.

Ruth Faye Daugherty, age 89 of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on Monday, February 24, 1936, in Butler County, KY.

Ruth's journey began as the cherished daughter of Corbie M. and Minnie Wilson Deweese. Her early years in Butler County were filled with the laughter and love of a large family. Though she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenward Erdist Daugherty, and her seven siblings, Corbie Deweese Jr., Kenneth Deweese, Dorene Dusky, Doris Coleman, Rollie Deweese, Ed Deweese, and Bobby Deweese.

Thomas Henry Brown, 60, of Clay, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, with his daughter by his side at home. He was born May 10, 1965, in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late George W. “GW” Brown and Barbara Herring Brown. Tom was the world’s best plumber and enjoyed hunting, fishing and he was a collector of all things.  

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Brown and David Brown.

Roger D. McKinney, 79 of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Morgantown, Kentucky to the late Earl and Alta Barrow McKinney. He attended Centertown Tabernacle Church and was a retired heavy equipment operator in the coal mines.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth McKinney and one sister, Diane McKinney.

Sally Rone, age 73 of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Born on Saturday, March 22, 1952, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Sally's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and service.
