James Robert Kirby, age 79, of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born in Butler Co., KY on Apr. 23, 1946. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his son Tracy Kirby; parents George and Bonnie Parks Kirby; several brothers and sisters.

James is survived by his sons Richard Kirby (Lottie), Robert Kirby and Steven Kirby; 7 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister Dixie LaGrand; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025 at 2:00pm at Youngtown Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be held at the cemetery from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
