David “Allen” Dotson, 62 of the Mooretown Community, passed away peacefully, at his home on Friday, October 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Allen was born June 18, 1963 in San Diego, California to William David and Sharon Rose Dotson.  He was a 1982 graduate of Butler County High School where he met and later married Tammy Phelps on September 6th, 1985. They recently celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary.  Allen attended Christ Covenant Church in Morgantown, where he and Tammy were both baptized on July 23, 2023.

BELTON- Dianna Gail (Ethel-Aunt Doggin) Abbott, 67, of Belton died Friday, October 24, 2025 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Ms. Abbott was born in Jeffersonville, IN, on November 2, 1957. She was a homemaker that loved her kids, adored her grandkids and family, and loved her flowers and herbal medicine. She is preceded in death by her son, Larry Belcher; brother, Joel Barks; parents, LB and Mary Barks; grandparents, Burley and Hannah Lee, Alton and Ola Myrl Barks; favorite brother in law, Jerry Johnson.

Leburn Dean Lindsey, known affectionately as Dean by his loved ones, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the age of 75 in Morgantown, KY. Born on August 18, 1950, in Butler Co, he was a man of exceptional character, whose life was marked by his loving nature, wisdom, and handy skills.

Julie Clark Young, age 75, of Bowling Green, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 surrounded by her family. Julie was born in Butler Co., KY on May 30, 1950.  She was a former Deputy Jailer at the Warren Co. Jail and was also the owner of A-1 Cleaning Service.  Julie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents Newton Clark and Alice Crenshaw; brothers Ronnie Clark and his wife Debbie, Randy Clark; her sisters Judy Clark and Virginia “Ginny” West.

Sheila D. Johnson, age 59 of Bowling Green, KY, passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Born on Thursday, January 6, 1966, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Zill and Dollie Basham Perkins, two of her children, Jeannie Perkins and Wendell Johnson Jr., and 17 siblings.  

Max Alan Childress, age 68 of Morgantown, KY, passed away at his residence on Dunbar Leetown Road on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Born on Saturday, May 18, 1957, in Butler County, Kentucky, Max's journey through life was one marked by dedication, service, and the love of his family.

Jason Cordale Dockery, a cherished son, brother, fiancé, and friend, passed away on Friday the 17th of October, 2025, at the age of 25. Born on Monday, December 20, 1999, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, Jason's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and humor. He departed this world on Caneyville Road in Morgantown, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy of joy and cherished memories.

Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Janie Dockery, his aunt Nicky Bratcher, and his brother-in-law Hunter Owings. 

Ronald Ray Jones, age 56 of Morgantown, KY passed away at his residence on Sugar Grove Road on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Born on Friday, May 16, 1969, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Cory Paul Beasley, age 37 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at his fiancee residence in Graham, Kentucky. Born on Monday, November 2, 1987, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Cory's life was a testament to the power of overcoming adversity with grace and determination.

Cory was a beacon of light to all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Bessie Williams, and his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lonie Beasley.

Betty Louise Robertson, age 87 of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on April 5, 1938, in Butler County, Kentucky, Betty's life was a testament to the strength and warmth of her spirit.
