Mitchell Curtis Russ

Mitchell Curtis Russ of Morgantown, KY died 23 August 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 17, 1934 in Butler County, KY one of five children born to John and Annie Mae (Coker) Russ. He attended the old Morgantown High School until he was drafted by the Army. He decided he wanted to serve in the Navy, so he volunteered for that branch of service and served for four years on an UDT team (Now known as the Seals). He was a Korean War Veteran.

Doyle Odell Cardwell, age 82 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Doyle was born of Monday, September 16, 1940 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Arthur and Media Colburn Cardwell and husband of the late Marilyn Phelps Cardwell. Doyle was a member of Green Valley Church of Christ and Morgantown Church of Christ, serving as song leader for 60 plus years.

Veda Casey Bishop

Veda Casey Bishop, 86 of Hartford, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Ohio County Healthcare in Hartford. She was born on March 18, 1937, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Hub and Lillie Mae Elms Casey. Veda loved children and was a longtime babysitter for many families in the community. She was a charter member of East Hartford Baptist Church where she served in many capacities, most notably as a Sunday School teacher for children.

Robin Lynn Searles

Robin Lynn Searles, age 64 of Russellville, KY passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her residence with her children by her side. Robin was born on Wednesday, December 24, 1958 in Heidelberg, Germany to Kenneth R. and the late Shirley M. Wiseman Searles. She was a member of Caveland Church and She was the leader of For The Love Of All Music Fan Page. Robin enjoyed music, karaoke, horseback riding, fishing and anything outdoors. Other than her mother she is preceded in death by three brothers Terry, Jeff and Mark Searles.

Donna Odle Tabor

Donna Odle Tabor, age 75, of Shepherdsville, Ky., formerly of Morgantown, Ky. passed away peacefully on Aug. 20, 2023 at the Louisville Baptist Hospital.   She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Jan. 15, 1948.  Donna was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1298, Bowling Green.  She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents George and Nova Brown Odle; son Greg McKenney; brothers Tommy and Bruce Odle; sisters Jewell Hunt, Anita Daugherty and Paula Odle.

Robert Owen "Little Bob" Hudnall, Jr.

Robert Owen “Little Bob” Hudnall, Jr., age 58, of the Davis Crossroads, passed away at his residence.  He was born on January 21, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Robert Owen Hudnall, Sr. and the late Lois Ann Holland Hudnall.  Bob spent his entire career in the leather business.  He began at 19 years of age in the dipping room at Triple C Leather and ended his career as a sales man.  When Bob was young, he loved nothing more than to be fishing or hunting.

Wendell Ray Miller

Wendell Ray Miller, age 89 of Beaver Dam, KY passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at his residence. Wendell was born on Wednesday, August 8, 1934 in Cromwell, KY to the union of the late J.W. and Alma Marie Drake Miller. He was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ and a United States Army Veteran. Wendell was a Archery State Champion for 2 years and National Champion for 3 years. He loved telling stories from his past and reading the Bible and studying the scriptures daily. Wendell enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working and leather tooling.

Robert Phillip Estaver

Robert Phillip Estaver, age 78 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Robert was born on Monday, August 6, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida to the union of the late Phillips and Eddie Elizabeth Glover Estaver. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints,  a United States Marine veteran serving in Vietnam and a retired heavy equipment operator. Robert enjoyed woodworking, drawing, gardening, working on small engines and just fixing anything. He loved serving the Lord and had a love for everyone around him.

William "Bill" Henry Sweatt

William “Bill” Henry Sweatt, age 75, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on February 20, 1948.  Bill was of the Church of Christ faith.
