Larry Wayne Waddle, age 84 of Bowling Green, KY passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Larry was born on Wednesday, June 28, 1939 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Buster and Christine Belcher Waddle Render. He was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church and a retired rural carrier for the United States Postal Service. Larry enjoyed traveling, going to car shows and working. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his step father Dav Render.

Troy G. Abbott, age 74, of Rochester, Ky. passed away on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Rochester, Ky. on May 29, 1949.  Troy was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and an Army Veteran having served in Vietnam with the 1st Cavalry Division from 1969 to 1971.  Troy loved riding his side by side, being on his tablet and enjoyed the outdoors.   He was preceded in death by his parents Ardell “Red” and Mary Lou Pruitt Abbott; grandson Talon Jones and sister Tamara Peters.

Jerald Andrew Hardison was born October 3, 1938 in Morton’s Gap, KY to H.L. Hardison and Martha Deloriece (Noffsinger) Hardison. He passed into eternal rest on July 30, 2023 at his home. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jerald was known for his unwavering good nature and supportiveness, his integrity, and hard work.

James Lewis “Jim” Womack, Sr., 97, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Taylor Manor Nursing Home in Versailles, Kentucky.

Beulah Alice Jenkins, age 77 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Beulah was born on Sunday, September 2, 1945 in Butler Co. KY to the late Hesbie and Helen Tomes Embry. Beulah was a member of Christian Home Church of Christ, retired from Red Cap and a homemaker. Beulah loved going to the beach, traveling and attending all her grandchildren's sports and events throughout the years.

Ethel Marie Smith Adams, age 60, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born on Aug. 16, 1962 in Bowling Green, Ky.  Marie was a homemaker and loved to play with her grandchildren, loved the outdoors and taking long walks.  She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Adams; mother Mildred Proctor Smith and father Earl Smith.

Flora Mae Murphy Bratcher, 66, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born January 17, 1957 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Ethel Murphy and Cordelia Renfrow Murphy. Flora was a homemaker. She enjoyed canning, gardening, and riding in the wagon.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by five siblings, Shanon Murphy, Charlie Louis Murphy, Costella Heflin, David Murphy, and Betty Jo Ferguson.

Jerry Maurice Martin, age 77 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Hopice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Jerry was born on Sunday, August 26, 1945 in Greenville, KY to the union of the late John Columbus (J.C.) and Mary Katherine Burch Martin. Jerry was a graduate of Butler County High School Class of 1963 and a Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church and a 50 year member of Woodbury Masonic Lodge #280. Jerry served as a conservation officer for the Kentucky Dept.

Peggy LeAnne Hatcher Ayers, age 54, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the U.K. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Ky.  She was born on Dec. 21, 1968 in Louisville, Ky. to Jerry Hatcher and the late Carol Cardwell Spurlock.  She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and worked at Casco for 17 years. She loved painting, music, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.  LeAnne was preceded in death by her mother.

Everett Leslie Russ, age 48 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Signature Health Care of Hartford in Hartford, KY. He was born on Tuesday, October 8, 1974 in Hartford, KY to the union of the late Edward L. and Betty Jean Patterson Russ. Everett loved Hot Wheel Cars, country music and The Johnny Carson Show. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Vonda Russ; maternal grandparents Everett Patterson and May Embry and paternal grandparents Les and Nora Russ.
