The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has happily issued a call to Jordan Bryant son of Billy and Kelly Bryant of Hartford, KY formerly of Morgantown to serve in the Everett Washington USA Mission.  Jordon completed a 4 year early morning seminary program which is part of the Church Education System offered to all students that are in high school in this area. He graduated and spoke at the graduation that occurred in May of this year.   He is a 2013 Butler County High School graduate.  He was part of the elite Butler County High School band where he was the head of the Drum Line. He worked with Jason Ausbrooks Butler County band director as a peer teacher director  in the Butler County Middle School. In order to have a mission call a young man must have attained the age of 18 years lived an exemplary life following the teachings of Jesus Christ. A missionary farewell was held in Hartford for Jordon on August 11 and he reported to the Provo Utah Missionary Training Center for two weeks and then will report to the Everett WA mission. Members of the local unit as well the Hartford unit wish Jordon much success on his mission.  We are thankful for his wonderful example of a follower of Christ to all the youth of Butler County.
