Lady Bears place fourth, Bears fifth in Warren East All-Comers Meet
BOWLING GREEN - The Butler County High School girls' track and field team placed fourth while the Bears finished fifth at the Warren East All-Comers Meet on Thursday.
Both Warren East squads (boys and girls) prevailed in the meet.

Bears double up Hopkins County Central, 12-6
MADISONVILLE - Butler County excelled on the road on Thursday, doubling up host Hopkins County Central 12-6 in a non-district high school baseball game.
With the win, Butler County improved to 4-4.
Hopkins County Central dropped to 0-4 with the loss.

 Bears topple district rival Trinity for third straight win
 
WHITESVILLE - Butler County remained in the win column on the road at Whitesville Trinity on Wednesday, winning 14-1 in an early-season 12th District softball game. 
With the win, Butler County improved to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the 12th District.
Whitesville Trinity slipped to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the district with the loss.

Bowling Green Hot Rods Opener a Real Cliffhanger

The Bowling Green Hot Rods played their first home game of the season on April 5, at Bowling Green Ballpark in a nine-inning battle for the win against the Dayton Dragons. Bowling Green fired up their offense with a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the third to give the Hot Rods the lead.

PREP SOFTBALL: Bears go 2-1 over Spring Break

Bears blank Fort Campbell, 15-0; Chaney homers 
 
MURRAY - The Butler County Bears remained in the win column at the Spring Break Bash at Murray High School on Saturday. In a dominant performance, Butler County blanked Second Region member Fort Campbell 15-0 in three innings.
With the win, Butler County evened its overall record to 2-2.
Fort Campbell dropped to 1-8 with the loss. 
Butler County set the tone early and never faltered.

ARCHERY: MES repeats as state champs; NBE's Grant Jones top male archer

Morgantown Elementary finished 1st place out of 81 schools winning the State Bullseye Championship with a score 3189. This is 2nd year in a row that Morgantown Elementary has accomplished this and finished the regular season undefeated at 18-0. The top shooting male for MES in bullseye was Brayden Tomes with a score of 277 closely followed by Kaleb Clark 273 along with Logan Givens and Kellon Meredith tied at 271.
