On June 23rd at approximately 4:02pm, Officers of the Morgantown Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Ottis White St.

If you have driven past his house you would probably know it. It would be hard to miss the colorful array of roses displayed in his front yard. Ricky Lockhart of Morgantown, Kentucky started out growing roses as a way to pass the time during his retirement, however it has now become a big part of his life. Ricky first began growing roses about 20 years ago and started out with around 15 rose bushes.

On 6-19-2019 Officers of the Morgantown Police Department were dispatched to the WRECC parking lot on South Tyler Street for a report of 4 wheels stolen off of a parked Jeep Wrangler.

The Butler County Fiscal Court meeting took place on Monday, June 10.

The Morgantown City Council meeting met on Thursday, June 13 at the Eva J. Hawes Building. All council members were in attendance.

Rockfield, KY (June 12, 2019)- On Wednesday, June 12th at 1:29 PM (CST) the Kentucky State Police Post 3, Bowling Green received a call for service from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department requesting assistance with an investigation regarding a two vehicle injury collision. The collision had occurred on US 68, near the intersection of Stamps Road. Trooper First Class Joe Gregory responded to the collision.
