FRANKFORT – Legislation curtailing the governor’s powers to issue executive orders is headed to the full Senate for consideration.

On Thurday, January 7 at 11:30pm the Morgantown Police Department was assisting the Butler County Sheriff Department on Veterans Way/Gardner lane on a traffic stop when another call came in about a white Toyota Camry that was all over the road heading towards their location. After stopping the vehicle and following a short investigation, the white Toyota Camry subject was determined to be Preston Walter, age 22 of Elizabethtown, KY.

The Butler County School District has decided to resume in-person instruction next week on a hybrid schedule.
