Full Family & Urgent Care now open six days per week

Morgantown Center to treat non-life threatening illnesses and injuries

Full Family & Urgent Care is now open in the heart of Morgantown at 1116 S. Main Street in Rose Plaza. The Center is fully staffed to quickly assist local families with non-life-threatening urgent medical care for accidents and falls, fevers, colds, cuts requiring some stitches, body sprains and strains, and minor bone fractures.  Full Family & Urgent Care also offers weight management, women’s health and COVID-19/antibody testing.

“While we are committed to the residents of Butler County and beyond, we are also here for the business community,” says Nurse Practitioner Susan Hicks. “We realize that Butler County businesses can benefit from our nearby services for their employees. Drug testing, DOT physicals, medical care for on-the-job accidents and COVID-19 services can provide quick help for employees so they can safely return to work.”

The once shuttered urgent care facility is now owned by Dr. Chris Fuller, founder of the multi-location Fuller Physical Therapy. Fuller, long-committed to serving the local community, realized that access to nearby emergency care is a must for area residents. The center has a dedicated staff and uses all the precautions necessary due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Susan Hicks, MSN, APRN, FNP-C provides oversight and medical care for Full Family & Urgent Care. She’s a 2018 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University where she completed the family nurse practitioner program and earned her Master’s degree in nursing. Hicks also holds an APRN (advanced practice registered nurse) certification and a BSN in nursing from Western Kentucky University. She earned her RN degree from Owensboro Community and Technical College and worked as a cardiac nurse for over a decade.
