Several softball players from Butler County are playing on traveling teams this summer. Hannah Chaney's travel ball team, TNL 02, went to Panama City Beach, Florida, July 9-15, for the 2017 USFA World Series.

Morgantown Elementary Archery team recently placed 7th in the World Tournament in Orlando, Florida.  The team scored 3150, with 108 tens, and finished 7th out of 40 teams in the bullseye competition. They also finished 7th out of 15 teams in the 3D Challenge with a score of 1552, with 50 tens.

 BCHS 2017 varsity Football practice officially began July 10th. Daily workouts  are  from 8-11am daily Monday through Friday.  All BCHS freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are expected to attend.  July workouts are limited to shorts, shirts, and helmets.
