The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on behalf of Morgantown Bank & Trust as they celebrated the Grand Opening of their new location at 1840 Christian Care Way in Bowling Green, Ky. This is the second location the bank now has in Bowling Green.

Sgt. Robert Gregory was born and raised in Morgantown, KY. He has been in the Marine Corps for seven years and recently he received a Bronze Star with V Combat Distinguishing Device. This is the fourth-highest combat award in the United States Armed Forces.

The Butler County High School concert band and wind ensemble traveled to Madisonville for a festival on Friday. Both concert band and wind ensemble received distinguished ratings. The wind ensemble received perfect ones on their performance.
