The Butler County Grand Jury returned indictments against 16 individuals.  Charges included theft, burglary, assault, unlawful transaction with a minor, and drugs.

The Butler County Board of Education met in regular session Tuesday, February 14 at 6:30 p.m. after an hour-long working session. With approximately 60 people in attendance for the board meeting, several voiced their concerns about the district’s financial situation.

185 Martin Wilson Road was the location of a house fire earlier tonight as multiple volunteer firemen converged on the scene at approximately 9:30 p.m. The white frame house, located off Veteto Lane/KY 79 North, is owned by Melvin and Sandy Ralph.
