While many of you were sleeping in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 13, 2011, the Butler County High School Marching Band was preparing for a day they would not forget. The band left at 2:30 AM for a trip to Frankfort, Kentucky to participate in the 59th Governors Inaugural Parade.

The Butler County Sherriff’s Office is investigating a break-in which occurred during the daylight hours on Tuesday. According to Deputy Chris Reneer the home of David Coleman at 2658 Cool Springs Road was broken into sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while Coleman was at work.

The annual parade day radio auction to support the Boys and Girls Club of Butler County was yet another success. The event was hosted by Morgantown Bank and Trust through the use of their facility and the airways of Beech Tree 1570 WLBQ.
