We’ve had some hot summer days. Some of them brought dangerously high temperatures. The American Red Cross has advice posted on their website to help people stay safe in hot weather. But when in doubt, seek professional medical help.

The Fourth of July or Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays. It is a national holiday in the United States, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Like many others, I usually celebrate it with family, friends, food and fireworks.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are the values on which our great nation was founded.
