Patty Craig: A Slice of Time

“There’s nothing more important than our good health – that’s our principal asset,” according to Arlan Specter (https://www.brainyquote.com/topics/good_health). I’ve been reading about a variety of health topics lately. Reading is a pleasure, and one topic led to another. I found three topics that interested me: healthy foods, general stores, and health choices.

Cheryl Hughes: Rotten Tomatoes Remembered

A few days ago, when I was picking tomatoes, I remembered an episode from my childhood.  It made me smile.  I wrote about it over 15 years ago.  I thought those of you who never read that column might enjoy it, and those of you who did read it might enjoy reading it again.

Jarrod Jacobs: Longing For God’s Word

Psalm 119:20, 40, and 131 state very interesting thoughts. Cheryl Hughes: Statistics

When you work at a business where you see members of the public on a daily basis, you glean a lot of information about the weather.  I’m often entertained by weather indicators that have been passed down through the generations like, lots of nuts in the fall mean there’s a wicked winter headed our way or when it rains on the first day of the month, we will get fifteen days of rain during that month.
