            Something that needs to be seen is the love expressed between a man and woman in marriage. Those who are not married are one day going to be the recipients and givers of such love, and they need to look at those currently married to see what it is like to love someone and live with them for the rest of their lives.

I’m always interested in other artists’ take on a song.  It’s sometimes iffy.  You don’t know if it’s going to be good or bad.  I get a lot of these covers, the ones of which I wasn’t aware, from Michael De Barres Daily Doubletake on Little Steven’s Underground Garage-Sirius XM channel 21.  For instance, I figured “Daddy Rolling Stone”

Summer seems to be a time of gathering and eating with friends and family. Since many of us take dishes to a variety of events, some of my friends have shared the following recipes. Each one is delicious!

Without God, we live in HOPELESSNESS.

          Most of us watched the scene of illegal immigrants crossing into the US this week, and the trauma of children separated from parents, and the frustration of border patrol agents trying to uphold the law, while showing compassion to the families, as well.  It is a large problem with no easy fix.

            The following is a true story. A man who became a Christian later in his life was talking to his grown son one day about how he needed to be a Christian as well. The conversation went like this:

I’ve been wearing cotton shirts forever.  I’d wear them daily.  I’d wear them when I was out mowing.  I was always extremely hot when I finished.  My cotton tee would always be soaked in the summertime.  Then, mine eyes had seen the glory of dry-fit clothing! Too dramatic?

The first day of summer is Thursday, June 21. Even though the temperatures have been quite warm, I’m enjoying these days. Recently, I’ve wanted to slow down and enjoy some part of each day. A summer day does that to me – I want to relax, especially in the afternoon. A lazy afternoon would be one part of my perfect summer day. What does a perfect summer day look like? Likely, since we like different things, it would look different for each of us.
