Harold “Bud” Dewayne Cook, age 70 of Leitchfield, Kentucky, passed away Monday December 3, 2012. He was born January 27, 1942 in Ready, Kentucky to Lillie and Ambrose Cook. He worked in the lumber business. He was a dedicated minister at the Harvest Time Apostolic Church in Bee Springs, Kentucky and the Unity Pentecostal Church in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his Father: Ambrose Cook, his Mother: Lillie Cook, a Sister: Faustine Mudd and a Son-In-Law: John Byerline

Mayburn Bryan McCoy, 88,  of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Butler County, passed away Monday, December  3, 2012 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. Mr. McCoy was born May 13, 1924 in Butler County, KY in the Leetown Community to the late Willard B. and Annie Pearl Mason McCoy.  He was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church and a United States Army WW11 Veteran. He retired from E. R. Carpenter Co. in Russellville, farmed, and drove a school bus for Butler County.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Esma Henderson

Charles Edward Casey, 75, of Caneyville passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012, at his residence. He was born May 10th 1937 in Grayson Co. KY, the son of Fred and Lillie Hayse Casey. He had been a laborer at Louisville Metal and Scrap.

Coweta Hope Finney House, 89, of Woodbury, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at  Morgantown Care & Rehab Center.  Mrs. House was born April 25, 1923 in LowAnn, Arkansas to the late Herschel and Bertha Gibbons Finney and was the wife of the late Euda Carson House who died in 1990.  She was a homemaker, songwriter, beautician, member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, member of The Homemakers, active in the Democratic Party and loved to shop.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Euda House; daughter, Vivien Rowell; and one sister, Ernestine Morris.

Daniel Edward Snodgrass, age 57, of Payneville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

He was preceded in death by his father Otha Snodgrass and a nephew, Joshua Quinn Snodgrass.

Lanny Ray Mitchell, 57 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at his residence. Lanny was born March 20, 1955 in Greenville, Kentucky to the late Olis Mitchell and Ona Bell Abbott Mitchell who survives. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, industrial drywall hanger and deckhand on barges. She was preceded in death by one sister Wanda Jean Slaughter; brother in- law Elvis Slaughter and 2 nephews Brian and Terry Slaughter.

Jerry Jones, 56, of Caneyville, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY. He was born on January 29, 1956 in Leitchfield, the son of the late Ray and Ruby Jones. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Richie Jones, his wife Peggy Jones and one brother Quinten Jones.

Arley Poteet, 79  of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away  Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab Center in Morgantown. Mr. Poteet was born January 13, 1933 in Edmonson Co. to the late Easel E. Poteet and Mary Adaline Meredith Poteet.  He was of the Baptist faith, and had worked at WRECC many years as a groundman, his first job was as a tour guide in the Great Onyx Cave at the Mammoth National Park. Arley loved to hunt, fish and ride horses.

Rhonda Faye Snodgrass, 52 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Rhonda was born April 11, 1960 in Grayson County to Jewel and Marcella Tarrence Dockery who survives. She was a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, a homemaker, mother, and mammy.

Charles Winford Wilson, age 74, of Owensboro, KY, passed away Saturday, (November 17, 2012) at the Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro, Kentucky.

He was born on May 10, 1938 in Anneta, KY, the son of the late Claud and Delphia McGrew Wilson.
