John Curtis Childres

John Curtis Childres, 29, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in Nashville.

The Warren County native was the son of Timothy Walter Childres and Nancy Lynn Johnson Childres, who survive, of Morgantown. John was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He was a graduate of Butler County High School class of 2001 and a graduate of Bowling Green Tech as an automotive technician, class of 2003. John Curtis loved to fish, hunt and made a friend everywhere he went.

Costella Webster

Costella M. Webster, 72 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at her residence. Costella was born February 19, 1940, in Butler County to the late Cassius and Palastine Daugherty Henderson. She was a member of Barnett’s Lick Baptist Church and a retired restaurant operator. She was preceded in death by one sister Carolyn Amos and two brothers WC Henderson and Glenn Henderson.

Patrick S. Phelps

Patrick S. Phelps, 75, of Morgantown, Kentucky,  passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Morgantown Care and Rehabilitation Center in Morgantown, Kentucky. Pat was born April 10, 1937 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Richard Mansfield and Annie Douglas Phelps. He was retired railroad worker and U.S. Navy Veteran and Army Reserve. Phelps was preceded in death by one granddaughter -  Leanna Marie Vincent - and several brothers and sisters.

Wanda Sue Belcher, 71, of Morgantown Kentucky, passed away Sunda,y December 16, 2012, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Ms. Belcher was born in Butler County  on May 26, 1941 to the late Thurman and Ernstine Hudson Washer, and wife of the late W.T. Belcher. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Smith.

Patricia June "Trish" Knight, 41 of Apple Grove Road, Lacey's Spring died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Vista Care Hospice Wing of Emory University Hospital; Atlanta, Georgia.

Mrs. Knight was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky October 2, 1971, the daughter of Clark Hunt, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Harral Hunt. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of the Morgan City Community for the past 4 years. She enjoyed NASCAR, crafts and Alabama Football.

Bonnie "Dianne" McKinney

Bonnie "Dianne" McKinney passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, after a long battle with liver disease. Dianne was born December 19, 1952, in Bowling Green, Ky. to the late David Tinsley Neighbors McKinney and Bonnie D. Marshall McKinney. Dianne graduated from Butler County High School and Western Kentucky University. She was retired from the state-working at the toll plaza in Cromwell and working last at Woodbury Post Office.

Clifford Dewayne Johnson, 57 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday December 9, 2012 at the Medical Ceneter in Bowling Green, KY. Dewayne was born April 4, 1955 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Clifford Johnson and Georgia Hunt Sams, who survives. He was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church, Cassia Lodge #272, Scottish Rite in Madisonville KY, Rizpah Shrine Temple and owner of Dewayne's Body Shop.

Milton Lee Harcrow

Milton Harcrow, 77, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, December  8, 2012, in Bowling Green.  Mr. Harcrow was born July 16, 1935, in Pickens, MS. to the late Edis Lee and Phrosolane McDaniel Harcrow.  He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.  He was a maintenance worker at Baldor Electric in Columbus, MS.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Harcrow.

Estill White Jr., 87, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, December  7, 2012, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  Mr. White was born August 12, 1925, in Butler County to the late Estill and Stella Johnson White.  He attended New Liberty Baptist Church, was a WWII Army Veteran, and a retired executive with Standard Oil Co. in Louisville.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beulena White; one Son, Ralph White; and one Sister, Gusta Embry.

Norma Sue Cardwell

Norma Sue Cardwell, 69  of Morgantown, Ky.  passed away Tuesday, December  4, 2012 at Brownsville Kentucky. Mrs. Cardwell was born March 17, 1943 in Butler Co., Jetson, Ky. to the late Van Buel and Lucy Ann Johnson Cardwell.  She worked many years at Kellwood, Kanes and farming. Norma was a member and WMU leader at Sandy Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Green River Chapter DAR.  Preceded in death by one daughter Karen Kessinger, one sister Wennie Bell Cardwell and husband Desper McKinney
