Rex Davison

Rex Denton Davison, 74, of  Louisville, KY passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Saints Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. 

He was born December 02, 1938 in Ohio County, KY, the son of Birch F. Davison and Edna Mahurin Davison. He was a former Kentucky State Police Trooper.  Rex was also a Mason and a man of faith.

Virginia McKinney

Virginia Faye Hunt McKinney, 73  of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the Medical Center Hospital in Bowling Green. Virginia Faye was born July 8, 1939 in Butler County to the late Ruben and Virgie Hunt.  She was preceded in death by her parents,  and  husband Carlis McKinney, one daughter Linda McKinney, one son Wayne McKinney, several brothers and sisters.

Stella Mae Dockery

Stella Mae Dockery, 57, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. She was born May 5, 1955 in Jefferson Co, KY to the late Edward Filback and Louise Evans Filback Young. She was a member of Longview General Baptist Church near Beaver Dam and a retired line leader at Nestaway.

Beside her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Helbert Dockery and a sister, Libby Felty.

Richard Leon Chapman

Mr. Richard Leon Chapman, 83, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died Monday, January 13, 2013 at his residence. The Butler County native was born January 25, 1929 to the late Arthur Blaine Chapman and Maude Cardwell Chapman. Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by his wife Ann Maxey Chapman and a nephew Byron Lee Chapman.

Mr. Chapman was a 1946 graduate of Butler County High School and was a farmer. He was a member of Rolling Springs United Methodist Church, Little Muddy Rural Development, Master Conservationist of Warren County, and served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Wendell G. Wilson Sr. 68 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro, Ky. Wendell was born August 29, 1944, in Warren County to the late Edward and Nealie Whalen Wilson. He was preceded in death by one son Wendell G. Wilson Jr., 1 sister, and 4 brothers.
Wendell G. Wilson Sr. is survived by his wife Rosemary Bacanskas Wilson; 5 daughters Lisa Goad, Teresa Logsdon, Cindy Seale, Amanda Divine and Kimetha Wilson; son Adrian Wilson; sister Judy Rose; 4 brothers Frank, Bobby Joe, Maurice and William Wilson.

Ruth Arlene Beliles, 66 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at her residence. Ruth was born October 10, 1946 in Winamac, Indiana, to the late Paul Katschke and Dorothy Lizenby Katschke who survives. She is preceded in death by one son Robert James Denton and one grandson Jeffery Hammers; 3 sisters Judy Honard, Margaret Katschke and Janet Fisher and one brother Chuck Hartman.

Dorothy Charlton

Dorothy M. Charlton, 87 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Dorothy was born June 16, 1925, in Butler County to the late Crit and Letha Martin Wilson and was the wife of the late Henry Esco Charlton. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church and was retired from the Lakeview Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by one daugher Sarah Melissa Charlton and one son Wayne Charlton.

Georgia (Smith) Geary

Georgia W. Geary, 84, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at her residence.   

She was born on June 10, 1928 in Tilford, KY the daughter of the late George Washington and Lelia (Patterson) Smith. She retired from the local hospital after being the head of the dietary department for more than 25 years. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Millwood.

Lavada E. Whitehead

Lavada E. Whitehead, age 76, formerly of Caneyville passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013 in Leitchfield, Kentucky surrounded by her family. She was born in O’Bannon, Kentucky on October 24, 1936 to the late Charles T. and Anna Belle Burgin. She dedicated her life to taking care of others working for several years at the former Aid Acres Nursing Home and then retiring from Lincoln Trail Home Health. Her passion was caring for others and showing her strong faith in Christ throughout her life.

C.W. Cox

Charles C.W. Cox age 84 of Morgantown Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green Ky. C.W. was born in Butler County on May 10, 1928 to the late Charlie and Lydia Burden Cox. He was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and was a retired coal miner for many mining operations. He was preceded in death by daughter Brenda Hunt,  son Robbie Cox, two son-in-laws David Young and Ronnie Hunt,  grand-daughter Kristy Havens, brother Neol Cox, and three sisters Mauline Elms, Mary Johnson, and Polly Keown.
