Bonnie "Dianne" McKinney

Bonnie "Dianne" McKinney passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, after a long battle with liver disease. Dianne was born December 19, 1952, in Bowling Green, Ky. to the late David Tinsley Neighbors McKinney and Bonnie D. Marshall McKinney. Dianne graduated from Butler County High School and Western Kentucky University. She was retired from the state-working at the toll plaza in Cromwell and working last at Woodbury Post Office. Dianne was a former volunteer at the Morgantown Mission, a charter board member of Butler County Cancer Assistance, and a member of Woodbury Methodist Church.
Dianne loved to crochet and knit, but also loved photography, animals, and was fortunate to be able to travel and see the world. She enjoyed the yearly "Eagle Weekend" at Land Between the Lakes and went many times with her best friend of many years Brenda Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her father, David T.N. McKinney, a brother David Marshall "Sonny" McKinney, and grandparents George "Barney" Marshall, Melissa (Whitsett) Marshall, and George Tinsley & Ruth Ellen Neighbors McKinney.
In addition to her mother, Bonnie McKinney of Woodbury, Ky. Dianne is survived by a sister Kathy (McKinney) Towe of Woodbury, Ky. two nieces Rachel Leigh Towe of Woodbury, Ky. and Becky McKinney West and husband Chris of Morgantown, Ky. and many other relatives and friends.
In respect of Dianne's wishes, cremation was chosen with no visitation or funeral at this time. A special service will be held at a later date. Box 195 Morgantown Ky 42261. Funeral arrangement are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.

We are so sorry to hear of Dianne's death. Tommy and I were classmates of hers at BCHS. She was a sweet and caring person and will be missed.
