John Curtis Childres

John Curtis Childres, 29, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in Nashville.

The Warren County native was the son of Timothy Walter Childres and Nancy Lynn Johnson Childres, who survive, of Morgantown. John was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He was a graduate of Butler County High School class of 2001 and a graduate of Bowling Green Tech as an automotive technician, class of 2003. John Curtis loved to fish, hunt and made a friend everywhere he went.

He is survived by his wife of five years, Katherine Underwood Childres, of Bowling Green; two daughters, Harley Mariee Childres of Greenville and Jolynn Rena Childres of Bowling Green; and a son, Tristan Lee Childres of Bowling Green; a brother, Charles Childres and his wife, Samantha, of Morgantown; a sister, Jessica Montgomery and her husband, Josh, of Horse Branch; nieces and nephews Ryan and Tyler Norvil and Raven Childres; a maternal grandmother, Wanda Johnson of Morgantown; a mother- and father-in-law, Mike and Becky Underwood of Glasgow; a sister-in-law, Jennifer Norvil of Lebanon, Tenn.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many loved friends.

J.C. Kirby & Sons Funeral Chapel were in charge of arrangements.  Burial was in the Bowling Green Gardens.
