Joseph Hurbert McPeak

Joseph Hurbert McPeak 69,  of Greencastle, Indiana, formerly of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away September 5, 2013. He worked for a Moving and Trucking Co.

Joseph Hurbert McPeak  is survived by his ex wife Cherril V. McPeak of Morgantown; 2 daughters Ida Rangburger and Rebecca Capp both of Morgantown; 1 son John McPeak of Morgantown;6 Grandchildren Tiffany Capp, Whitney Capp, Michael Capp, Lynette McPeak, Stephanie McPeak, Steven McPeak and 7 Great-Grandchildren.

A private service was held in Green Castle, Indiana.

Debra M. Saunders

Debra M. Saunders, age 53 of Morgantown, kentucky, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Saunders was born April 2, 1960 in Chelmsford, Ma., to the late Vernon Merrill and Louise Murphy Merrill. Debra was a registered nurse and a member of Belmont General Baptist Church. Debra enjoyed arts and crafts, quilting, painting, reading and working in her flower garden. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Thomas Hugh Howard

Thomas Hugh Howard, 87 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Hugh was born November 20, 1925 to the late Millard and Annie Beck Howard and husband of the late Elinor Gwynn Waddle Howard. He was a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, a  United States Army Veteran serving in World War II as a medic in Okinawa, Japan, retired farmer, and truck driver. Preceded in death by 4 brothers Emmitt, Thurman, Roscoe and Edwin Howard.

Daisy Nell Stacks age 83 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at the Medical  Center  in Bowling Green, Ky., Daisy was born on March 8, 1930 in Muhlenberg County, Ky., to the late Amos and Erdine Drake Arndell and wife of the late Hubert "Smiley" Stacks. She was a homemaker, foster parent, and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Charles, Virgil, and Marshall Arndell and one sister Agnes Arndell.

Mary Lee Embry

Mary Lee Embry, 69 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky. Mary was born September 19, 1943 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Marvin and Palma Hill Warren. She was a member of Warren's Mill Church of Christ, she worked at Lakeview Nursing Home in Morgantown, Ky., and retired from the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky as a LPN. She was preceded in death by one son Marvin Dale Embry and brother in- law Dee Drake.

Al Davis, 81 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at his residence. Al was born August 29, 1932 in Iowa to the late Albert James and Edna Mae Hiller Davis. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, a United States Army Veteran and retired from the Transco Companys of America. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters

 Agnes M. (Fulton) Hoover, age 77, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her residence in Morgantown. Mrs. Hoover was born on June 1, 1936 in Butler County to the late Claude McKinney and Ollie Johnson McKinney.  She was a homemaker, a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church.  Agnes loved camping and working puzzles.

James Darrell Childress

James Darrell Childress, 52, of Roundhill passed away September 6, 2013 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Butler County native was an employee of Bowling Green City Schools. He was a son of the late Duane Childress and Mary Dalton Childress of Roundhill, who survives.

Funeral will be at 1 PM Monday, September 9, 2013, at Gravil Funeral Home in Brownsville, Kentucky, with burial in Honaker Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 PM Sunday, September 8, 2013, and after 9 AM Monday.

William C. "Willie" Webster

William C. "Willie" Webster, 74, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at his residence.  Mr. Webster was born August 7, 1939 in Butler County, to the late James Azro and Thelma Almedia Phelps Webster.  He was retired from Aleris where he worked as a loader operator.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved to cut wood for his wood stove.   Willie was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Elizabeth Moran; infant brothers, JT and James Eugene Webster.
