Odessa E. Belcher, 84 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday June 12, 2019 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Odessa was born Wednesday June 5, 1935 in Auburn, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Lennie Tatum Estes. She was the oldest member of Sugar Grove Methodist Church, past member of Midway Homemakers and a retired Morgantown Elementary cook after 25 years. Odessa loved her flowers and watching and feeding the hummingbirds. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter and son in law Linda and Royce Embry; daughter in law Janice Belcher and one brother Earl Estes.

Odessa E. Belcher is survived by two sons Joe Belcher (Fran) of the Sharer Community and Billy Belcher of Little Muddy; seven grandchildren Jeremy Embry (Kristen) of Caneyville, KY, Andrea Burkhalter (Ron) or Rockfield, KY, BJ Belcher (Emily) of Morgantown, KY, Luke Embry (April) of Rockfield, KY, Nicole Slaughter (Richie) of Morgantown, KY, Clint Belcher (Nikki) of Morgantown, KY and Tanna Reece (Kyle) of Roundhill, KY; 8 great grandchildren; one sister in law Irene Estes of Auburn, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday June 14, 2019 at 2:00pm with Bro. Gary Oberhausen officiating. Burial will be held in the Tuck Cemetery where Jeremy Embry, BJ Belcher, Clint Belcher, Ron Burkhalter, Kyle Reece and Norman Estes will serve as pall bearers. Visitation will be held on Friday June 14, 2019 from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
