Glendel Ray Coleman, 88, of Morgantown, passed away on December 30, 2017, at Morgantown Care and Rehab. Glen, as he was known by his friends, was born on May 17, 1929, to Estill and Maudie Coleman. He was a lifelong resident of Butler County, attended Western Kentucky State Teachers College and taught school in a one room schoolhouse. Glen was a medic in the United States Army serving in Germany in the early 1950s, where he was injured in a fire.

Ruby Stagner Hawkins, 87, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  She was born in Butler Co. on Oct. 28, 1930 to the late Jess Stagner.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and gardening.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Hawkins; great grandson Christopher Allen Henderson and brother Gary Stagner.

Kenzleigh Rae Dockery, 2 of Jetson, KY passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Kenzleigh was born June 18, 2015, to Zachery and Sydney Leigh Crawford Dockery. She attended Jetson Community Church, and she had a heart of gold, she loved her family, being outside and playing with her baby dolls.
Preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Freddie Crawford.

Sue Hampton, 66 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Sue was born August 25, 1951, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Albert Kessinger and Eva Nell Brooks Woodcock. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one son Randy Jovis Clark Jr.; maternal grandparents Lonnie and Stella Brooks and paternal grandparents Estil and Pearl Kessinger.

Joyce Dorris, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Christmas day, December 25, 2017.
She was born on September 17, 1932, in Nebo, Ky, to the late Bracie and Ruth Joyner.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bracie Joyner; her mother, Ruth Joyner; and her son, Chris Dorris.

Mark Alan Clark, 50, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mark was born April 13, 1967 in Warren County, Kentucky to the late Larry Donald and Carolyn Ruth Perkins Clark. He was a member of Cassia Lodge #272 and Business Manager for the Laborer's Union Local 1392. 

Forsythe, Judith Atherton “Mamaw” was born on January 30, 1940 in Nashville, TN. Judy went to be with her Lord on December 19, 2017. Judy is survived by her husband Bill ( formerly of Butler County) of 60 years, her son Mark (Louise), grandsons Justin (Deanna), Jarrod (Devon) and great-grandson Cameron. Judy was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Kay. Judy is survived by her brother Robert Atherton (Lucy) of Seattle, WA and much loved nieces and nephew.

Donald O. Lindsey, 91, of Leitchfield, formerly of Big Reedy, passed away at 4:30 PM Dec. 17, 2017 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

Brenda Taylor Evans, 71, of  Bowling Green, Ky., passed away Monday, December 18, 2017, at the Greenwood Nursing Home in Bowling Green.  She was born in Butler Co. on Jan. 25, 1946 to the late J.R. and Edna Earl Waddle Taylor.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching the Food Network and working crossword puzzles.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy C. Evans; son Jason Evans and sister Vicky Amos.

Marine Huff Embry age 86 of Russellville, KY passed away December 18, 2017 in the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, KY. Marine was born September 24, 1931 in Warren County, KY to the late Clifton “Red” Huff and Shella Beck Huff. She was the owner of Embry Green Houses and she is of Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her son Tony Lynn Embry.
