Emeline Evans Embry, 80 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. She was born January 14, 1939 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late James Doolin and Ora V. Abner Evans and wife of the late Odie B. Embry. Emeline attended New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, she worked at Kane's and Kellwood for many years and enjoyed quilting. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three brothers James D., Elmer and Forest Evans.

Emeline Evans Embry is survived by one son Billy Joe Embry (Jannette); three daughters Darlene Ward (Randal), Darnettie Martin (Donald M.) and Danalynn Clark (Tom Denton) all of Morgantown, KY; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four sisters Betty Kessinger of Morgantown, KY, Anna Hazel (Bobby) of Bowling Green, KY, Monnie Embry (Cody) of Henryville, Indiana and Marie Willhite of McHenry, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 1:00pm with Bro. Gene Garner officiating. Burial will be held in the Isiah Evans Cemetery where Randy Aaron Ward, Daniel Ward, Halen Clark, Nick Johnson, Kelly Nash and Eugene Embry will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
