Alice Faye Baker, 77, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on December 11, 1940 to the late Casey Johnson and Ruby Mae Painter Johnson.  Ms. Baker retired from Kane Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Sandy Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Judy M. Logsdon, 58 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 15, 2017, at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Hospice House. Judy was born September 27, 1959, in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Euell and Edith Lawrence Logsdon. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Holly Vance and one granddaughter Lauren Vance.

Jean Riley Chancellor, 95, of Rochester, Kentucky formerly of Rockport, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 11, 2017, at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. She was born August 5, 1922 to the late Thomas Edward Riley and Martha Jane Cundiff Riley. Mrs. Chancellor retired from Ohio County Hospital where she was a nurse and was a member of Monticello Baptist Church in Provo, Kentucky.

Givens, Mary "Frances" Vincent, 85, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.

Mary was a former treasurer and longtime member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Givens, Sr. Survivors include two sons, Daniel Givens (Patricia) and Samuel Givens, Jr (Martha); sister, Dovie Grubbs; and grandchildren, Danielle, Jennifer, Benjamin, and Jonathan.

Cleatus Lee Johnson, 54 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at his residence. Cleatus was born November 1, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Etta Mae Horton Newton and N.W. Johnson who survives. He was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church. Other than his mother he is preceded in death by one sister Rita Newton and step father, Jimmy Newton.

Mayron (Woodcock) Hall

Mayron (Woodcock) Hall, 68, of Leitchfield, passed away Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. 

She was born on Sunday, May 15th, 1949 in place, the daughter of the late Damon and Christal (Embry) Woodcock. She was the co-manager of Halls Drywall and Remodeling.  Mayron enjoyed fishing and working in her flower garden. She also loved to spend time with her family.

Elmo L. Cooper

Elmo L. Cooper, 83, of Caneyville, passed away Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.  

He was born on Friday, April 13th, 1934 in Grayson County, the son of the late Ray and Elfie (Bratcher) Cooper. Elmo was a member of the New Hope Church. He was the operator of Cooper’s Vinyl Siding and Guttering. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved to garden.

Charles Howard

Charles Howard age 69 of Olaton Ky., went to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 2, 2017. He will be reunited with his parents Orville and Mildred Smith Howard and his son Michael Howard. He will live on in the hearts of his best friend Sandra Geary, his daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and David Bell, his granddaughter Sadie Bell, his brother and sister-in-law John and Dee Howard and many others he touched during his time with them.

Connie Jo Bray, 66, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, at her residence. Connie was born March 11, 1951, in Normal, IL, to the late Robert Gene Barker and Patricia Keen Dipietratonio , who survives. Connie was a Member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Other than her father, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Bray Jr., one son, Robert Bray III, one grandson, Robert Bray IV, one step-granddaughter, Kayla Chute and one sister, Eva Stockert.
