Don Lindsey

Don Lindsey, 77 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, at his residence. He was born November 10, 1940, in Butler County KY. to the late Ed and Hazel Casey Lindsey. Don loved the Lord and serving as a deacon at Barnett's Lick Baptist Church. Earlier in his life, Don enjoyed singing with the Messenger Quartet, The Joyful Four and leading singing at Barnett's Lick. In the past, he served on the board at PBI Bank, and most recently he served on the board at the Butler County Water System.

Melba Lorine Ewing

Melba Lorine Ewing, 68 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

She was born Thursday, April 14, 1949, the daughter of the late Harding Harper and the late Nellie Spencer Harper.

She was employed as a bus driver by the Logan County and Butler County School Systems and attended Trinity Pentecostal Church.

Neal Whitehead

Neal Whitehead, 84, of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, January 11th, 2018 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. 

He was born on Sunday, March 19th, 1933 in Grayson County, the son of the late Estill and Ella (Lindsey) Whitehead. Neal was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion Post 81 in Leitchfield. He attended the Centertown Holiness Church. Neal retired from Otis Bryant and Son and had also worked for Presto Gary Construction for 17 years.

Robert Earl Stahl II

Robert Earl Stahl II, 60, of  Bowling Green, Ky., passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Indianapolis, In. on April 1, 1957 to the late Robert and Shirley Jean Finch Stahl. He was a US Army Veteran and a construction worker. Mr. Stahl was a member of Sugar Grove Methodist Church, Runner-up in the Indiana State  Billiards, loved to exercise and he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sue Washer Thompson, 57, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. She was born April 25, 1960 in Louisville, KY the daughter of Monroe and Dorothy Bandy Washer. She was a qualified medical assistant and was a salesperson at Feeders Supply in New Albany, IN.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Johnny Washer and Ralph Bandy.

Betty J. White, 85 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, January 8, 2018, at the Signature Health Care in Bowling Green, KY. Betty was born May 8, 1932, in Ohio County KY to the late Ira and Avie Smith Phelps and wife of the late Theodore Dewell White. She was a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, and she retired from Kellwood after 30 years. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by four brothers Chester, James, Albert and Hubert Phelps and three sisters Mary Ruth Walls, Mae Morris, and Vernia Eastman.

Elizabeth Brown Anderson, 36 of Bowling Green, KY formerly of Morgantown, KY, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018, at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY. Elizabeth was born July 12, 1981, in Bowling Green, KY. to Stephen Ray Brown and Bonita Sue Scalf Barnett. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Emory and Ruby Scalf and paternal grandfather Denzil Brown.

Angelina Nicole Beatty, 12, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, Tn.  She was born in Brownsville, TX. on May 31, 2005.   She was a student at Butler County Middle School and was of the Catholic faith. Angelina played softball, loved country music and making people smile.

Cova Myrl Johnson Felty, 89, of Morgantown, KY, formerly of Owensboro, KY, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Cova was born October 6, 1928 in Butler County, KY to the late Charlie and Pernia Brooks Johnson and she was the wife of the late Roy Felty.

Jane L. Casey, Sevierville, TN, passed peacefully at her residence in Brookdale Assisted Living, at 9:30 am, on Thursday, January 4th, 2018. She was born on June 28th, 1929, in Chandler, IN. She was married to her sweetheart Hayward for 50 years, until she was preceded in death by him on October 22nd, 2003.
