Remus V. Glass, 85, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Remus was born in Butler Co., Ky. on December 15, 1933 to the late Raymond and Emma Smith Glass. He was of the Baptist faith, a truck driver for Rone Trucking and a mechanic for International Harvester. Remus loved his family, enjoyed playing pool and enjoyed his horses and cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mardell Glass Perkins.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice Dearing Glass; son Ron Glass (Leslie); grandsons Chance, Connor and Colten Glass; nephew Glenn Proctor (Charlotte); nieces Rhonda Hunt, Teresa Lindsey (Bobby) and Pam Clark (Jim).

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Cook Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 1 from 4-8pm and Saturday from 9am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
