Maudry Lucille Abbott McCoy

Maudry Lucille Abbott McCoy, 89, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at her son’s residence. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on October 5, 1928, to the late Harry Abbott and Della Wester Abbott.  She was a homemaker and a  member of Union Baptist Church. Maudry loved being around her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William P. McCoy; sister Esther Reneer; brothers Lester, Bubby, Sydney and William O. Abbott.

Gil H. Mitchell, 74, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Gil was born February 16, 1944, in Dexterville, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Falsom Evans Mitchell and husband of the late Jane Harper Mitchell. He was a United States Army Veteran, coal miner and retired Butler County deputy jailer, member of Banock Masonic Lodge #824 and of the Baptist faith. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one sister Fiona Sue Taylor.

Evaline Page Deel, 88, of Louisville, Ky. passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 2, 2018, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Ky. She was born in Sugar Grove, Ky. on August 20, 1929, to the late William and Glennie Tanner Page.  She was a devoted homemaker, mother, and grandmother, member of Liberty Temple Church and retired from the Galt House Hotel after 20 plus years. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning.

Bulena "Momma Boo" Dunn, 89, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, at her residence. Bulena was born July 14, 1928, in Cromwell, Kentucky to the late Major and Alta Daugherty Howard and wife of the late Nuga B. Dunn. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She loved being with her family and enjoyed visiting with family, friends, and neighbors. She was a caregiver and loved deeply and was sensitive to the needs of others. Bulena loved working in her flowers, painting, and drawing and loved to sing.

Gracie M. Gill, 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Gracie was born March 11, 1948, in Bell County, Kentucky to the late Reed and Ruby Lee Hubbard Doolin. She was a member of Nelson Creek Pentecostal Church and a homemaker. Gracie loved spending time with her family as well as her church family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters Jean Turner and Faye Proctor.

LeeAnne Jones Woodcock,61, of Morgantown Ky., passed away on Wednesday March 21, 2018 at her residence. LeeAnne was born April 12, 1956 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late James H. Jones and Ramona Frye Trout. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with an associates degree and was of the Church of Christ faith.
LeeAnne Jones Woodcock is survived by one son Daniel Jones and wife Dani of Columbus, Ohio; 4 grandchildren Emily, C.J., Caiden and Kyler; 2 brothers James Jones Jr. of Indiana and Rodney Frye of KY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
