Nancy Jane Messamore Embry

Nancy Jane Messamore Embry, 76 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday January 28, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY with her family by her side with love, prayers and her favorite hymnals. Nancy was born August 14, 1943 in Davies County, Kentucky to the union of James Alvey and Lucy Lanham Messamore. She married her high school sweetheart Rev. Dallace Timothy Embry on June 28, 1961 and by 1970 they was blessed with 7 children.

Alma Jean Johnson

 Alma Jean Johnson, 82 of Rochester, Kentucky passed away Thursday January 23, 2020 at her residence. Alma was born August 15, 1936 in the Drakesboro community in Muhlenberg County, KY to the late Sherman and Hester Jones Arnold and wife of the late Elgie L Johnson. She was a member of the Belton Pentecostal Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter Pamela Fink and four brothers.

Timothy Leon Wilson, 50 of Morgantown KY, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born March 28, 1969 in Warren County, KY to Chalmer Leon and June Alice Howard Wilson. Tim was a hardworking, master craftsman that could build and fix anything. He was a self employeed drywall hanger for more than 30 years. He was an avid UK basketball and Tennessee Titan fan. Tim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, son, father, papaw, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Lowell D. Hatcher

Lowell D. Hatcher, 79, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 in Warren Co., Ky.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on April 9, 1940 to the late Robert and Mae Holman Hatcher. He was an Army Veteran and a retired pipe fitter for the Local 669 Union and a member of Big Muddy Baptist Church. Lowell loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and having cookouts at the river. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Alma Arnold Johnson, 82 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday January 23, 2020 at her residence. Alma is the wife of the late Elgie Johnson.

Phyllis McRae,  71, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away January 23, 2020 at her residence. Phyllis was born July 29, 1948 in the Welch’s Creek Community of Butler Co. Ky. to the union of the late Chester “Chet” and Ruey Burden Johnson. She was retired from the Butler Co. Board of Education, attended Crossland Community Church and was a St. Jude Partner in Hope. Phyllis enjoyed woodworking, working in the yard and spending time with family and friends.

James Crady "Jimmie" Hunter, 94 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday January 18, 2020 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Jimmie was born April 20, 1926 in Leitchfield, KY to the union of Lucian O. and Virginia Monica Meredith Hunter and husband of the late Waneda Duncan Hunter. He was a United States Navy Veteran and retired from the Department of Transportation.

Jacob “Jake” Ward Hampton

Jacob “Jake” Ward Hampton, 32, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Warren Co.  He was born in Warren Co., Ky., on April 18, 1987.   He was an entrepreneur of many trades and owner of Hampton Motor Sales. He lived and breathed to race with his race family, the 403 Mafia and J.H.R.  He loved to hunt, fish and drink beer. Jake loved UK basketball and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was his mother’s heart and soul.
