Jason Cordale Dockery

Jason Cordale Dockery, a cherished son, brother, fiancé, and friend, passed away on Friday the 17th of October, 2025, at the age of 25. Born on Monday, December 20, 1999, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, Jason's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and humor. He departed this world on Caneyville Road in Morgantown, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy of joy and cherished memories.

Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Janie Dockery, his aunt Nicky Bratcher, and his brother-in-law Hunter Owings. 

He is survived by a loving family who will miss him dearly. His father, Keith Dockery, (Ashlee), of Morgantown, KY; his mother, Heather Frashure, (Jimmie Jr), of Livermore, KY; his siblings, Michael Dockery (Lauren) of Morgantown, KY, Sierra Durbin (Ethan) of Beaver Dam, KY, Faith Dockery of Beaver Dam, KY, Trenity Dockery (Ashton Cox) of Beaver Dam, KY, Bronson Brooks of Morgantown, KY, and Eli Durbin of Livermore, KY; his paternal grandfather, Gary Phelps; his maternal grandparents, Sylvia and Morris Moran; his paternal grandparents, Matt and Donna Hardesty and Bobby Brooks, all of Morgantown, KY; his beloved fiancée, Sara Rose, and her son, Kolby, of Morgantown, KY.

Jason was a cherished nephew to David Phelps, D.J. and Haley Leisure, Amber and John Phelps, Shane and Lana Hatcher, Brandon and Melissa Brooks, and Evan Hollowell, Richard, Jayden, Gabe and Cooper Moran. He was also a doting uncle to Westyn, Whitley, and Wrenley Durbin, Aulora Cox, and Navy and Kollyns Dockery. His maternal great-grandmother, Airrie Dockery, and paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Brooks, both of Morgantown, KY, also survive him.

Professionally, Jason was a skilled mechanic at Greg Gary Trucking, and of the Baptist Faith. Jason's interests were a reflection of his vibrant spirit. He loved fishing, riding four-wheelers, and working on anything that allowed him to tinker and problem-solve. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Zion Harmony Baptist Church, Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 1:00pm with Bro. David Bastin officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Harmony Cemetery where Michael Dockery, Bronson Brooks, Eli Durbin, D.J. Leisure, Ethan Durbin and Ashton Cox will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at Zion Harmony Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Jones Funeral Chapel P.O.
