Michael Philip Elmore, age 73, of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on November 7, 2025. Born on April 23, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in Roundhill Kentucky,  Mike led a life marked by adventure, humor, and thoughtfulness that deeply touched all who knew him.

Mike was a former teamster and factory worker. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, the music of Arlo Guthrie and Goose Creek Symphony, and most importantly, the company of his family. 

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Lossie and Grace Elmore; his devoted wife, Elizabeth Westerman Elmore; his brother, R.V Elmore; and his brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Elaine Elmore. His memory will be fondly cherished and kept alive by his fiancée, Cathy Embry.

He leaves behind a loving legacy through his son and daughter-in-law, Michael L. Elmore and Rae Anna Kirby, his grandsons, Michael H. Elmore, Alex Elmore, and Bowen Kirby. His sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Tema Childers, along with his sister-in-law, Ronnie Elmore.

All services are private, with burial in the Milligan cemetery where Michael H., Alex and Scott Elmore, Bowen Kirby and Darrell and Randall Bratcher will serve as pallbearers.
