Morgantown Freight Hosts Truck Rodeo

On Saturday May 2nd, Morgantown Freight, owned by Mike Rone, celebrated 30 years of business by inviting the community to their business for good food and friendship. Among the various items available were hamburgers, hot dogs, fresh fruit, pulled meats, soda, water,and much more. Lunch was served at 2pm. A big truck bounce house was available for the children and provided by Double K Amusements.

Spring Fling 2015

Saturday May 2nd hosted many important events for the community. The Kentucky Derby, softball and baseball, soccer, and of course Spring Fling on Main Street in Morgantown. Perhaps the most alluring portion of the day was the gorgeous weather conditions with a high in the 70's and barely a cloud in the sky.

BC Circuit Clerk's Office Wins National Photo Contest

Congratulations to the Butler County Circuit Court Clerk's Office for winning the National Blue & Green Day photo contest.  Out of 150 entries in the group category Butler County won first place and will receive a $100 gift card.  The 2015 National Donate Life Blue and Green Day Photo Contest was a resounding success.  They received over 400 entries in six different categories.

BCMS Site Base Decision Making Council Elections

Butler County Middle School is currently accepting parent nominations to serve on the 2015-2016 Site Base Decision Making Council (SBDM).
  Any parent with a child attending Butler County Middle School during the 2015-2016 school year is eligible to run for SBDM.  (SBDM representatives are required to attend a 6 hour training session for new members or a three-hour training session for any experienced member and are expected to attend monthly meetings).
